The Atlanta Trip

This past week was Spring Break. Adam and I both get Spring Break and had a whole week with the boys. We made a trip to the zoo.

The boys spent lots of time with their grandparents. My cell phone took a swim in the toilet. Adam and I cleaned the house top to bottom. And we took a short day trip to Atlanta.

On the way Noah lost his top tooth!

First stop was an early lunch at the Atlanta Food Truck Park. Not really a happening place on a cold Wednesday but a lot of potential for yummy and cool on a weekend. The boys loved dancing to the DJ and Italian Ice.
After lunch we headed to Fernbank Natural History Museum. The boys had an awesome time exploring dinosaurs and a very well done whale exhibit. There was also a cool exhibit on the senses with neat experiments to do. But their favorite part was the kid's section on animal habitats. It had interactive exhibits on oceans, caves, forests, and estuaries. The had a treehouse with bridges to climb all with real animals. They could have stayed there for hours. A million different activities to do.

Then it was off to the LegoLand Discovery Center. I left my camera in the car because I rightly guessed it would be all hands on deck. The boys loved it! Miller was very brave with the two rides. And Noah loved building cars and testing them on the test track. One of their favorite parts was the 4 D movie. Miller thought it was hysterical and did not want to give up his glasses.

Lots of good memories made. I feel full and very blessed. Filled up. Ready to take on the last two months of the school year. Thankful.
