The Different Kind of Summer

This weekend summer gave us a teaser.
Sprinkler time...

Neighborhood game of football anyone? Huddle up.

It feels like school is out but it isn't. This summer is going to be different. I am going to be teaching summer school. Sixth grade enrichment with reading and crafts. Awesome. Last spring I took the Reading Specialist Praxis to start looking at potential coaching positions. Summer school is just a step towards that. Experience on the resume. Starting next week from 7:30 to 12:30  I will be working in the summer for the first time since Kanakuk. And can you really call kamp working? Usually in the summer I try to maximize the time with the boys, this year it will be a bit of a challenge. But hopefully it will pay off in the long run.
