The Neighbors

I love my neighborhood. Did you know that? I love that I can text my neighbor about whether she thinks it would be okay to use a Sharpie to draw lion whiskers on Miller's face for circus day and she brings me some eyeliner instead. (I was joking about the Sharpie. Partly.) Or that I can get a skin rash diagnosis from a nurse or mom of four. That we must own at least 30 different bike like vehicles on our street and on most afternoons you can find them being used, shared, and abused. I love sharing this stage of life with others. Laughter and struggles are best when
shared. This afternoon we shared mud puddles and cookies. I will really miss this. I know it can't last forever. But for now I wouldn't change a thing. Except maybe about four hundred more square feet :)

Oreos seem to encourage cooperating with the photographer. I need to restock the cookie jar!
