Football is in the air, in the stores, on the radio, and on T.V. The South is gearing up for our favorite time of year... Football season. Girls are shopping for their game dresses and outfits. Guys are making predictions and getting their Fantasy Teams ready. Tailgating coolers and recipes are being dusted off. Fight songs are being played. I am getting ready for two seasons...High School:
Is there anything as much fun as a high school football game? Pep rallies, parades, jumbo paper banners, half time shows, majorettes twirling fire, rivals, pranks, Friday Night Blitz, Playoffs. The list goes on. I can't wait. Last year and the year before (we actually have the longest current losing streak in Alabama High School Athletics) B High lost every football game. But this year the guys are super excited. The won both their spring games and won all the seven on seven scrimmages against area teams this summer. Tonight is the Jamboree. My boys are pumped and confident. I am praying for them and hoping the best this year. I am getting excited about putting on my navy and gold and cheering them on! Surely the tide has changed and this year will be better.
College:
I am ready to make the trip down 280 to one of my favorite places! I love Auburn. I LOVE AUBURN. Did y'all know that about me?? I love all the orange and blue, the great food, the people, shopping, the pre game festivities, the Eagle's flight, the memories, the game, the sound of 82,000 screaming people, rolling Toomer's , the lemonade, Aubie, the Creed, the Alma Mater, I could go on and on. It doesn't even matter what happens on the field. (Winning does help) I just get excited about being in a place I love so much. I did get sad when I started thinking about Tuberville not being on the sidelines. It will be interesting to see how everything plays out.

Me too! I LOVE AUBURN! I think it's hard for others sometimes to relate to how the Auburn family just loves being IN Auburn. Aside from where our children are and being home with Mike, Auburn is the Best place to be this side of heaven!! Love, MIL
Noah can say "Aubie" now. I hope he doesn't cry when he sees the real Aubie, but he probably will.

Today really started to feel like football with the touch of fall in the air! I do feel sorry for all of the Alabama fans you have to live with every day- keep focused on the your orange and blue!
