The Rainy Halloween

Earlier this week, James began telling us it might rain on our trick or treating parade. Or in our case hayride. And as usual James Spann was right. It rained on our parade. But it didn't dampen our spirits. The Waldrop's hosted their 5th annual Halloween Hayride Party. I made the desserts. We trick or treated first and for as long as we could until it was pouring. Then we headed home to enjoy food and friends. It was a great start to the 2013 Holiday Season. We are ready to start our month of Thankfulness to get ready to celebrate the kindness and goodness of God and gift of the birth of His Son.
Noah really wanted to wear his Alabama football uniform that he wear everyday to play football in the front yard. How can I turn down a free costume?

My puppy was hot and tired before it even started.

Cade refused to wear his costume. Or trick or Treat. He rode up front in the hayride and was happy to never leave the tractor.

My silly boys.

Some one is eating the snacks.

Best neighbor ever.

A little more cheerful.

Great memories made!
