This morning we embarked on a new adventure....sports. We went to the "ballpark" for the first T ball practice. I won't lie I teared up a little watching Adam and Noah on the field. It just feels like a rite of passage in boy motherhood.
We are in a little league called Sandlot. Everyone scores, everyone wins, everyone coaches. We thought this would be a good start for Noah. One day we will teach him to lose. But while he is learning to throw, catch and bat this is a good fit. Most of our little neighborhood group is in the league, and Cass is our coach. Noah had so much fun. The moms and the "fans" had fun too.
I am looking forward to the spring and playing ball.
