Last night we went to get our Christmas Tree!
We love tradition at our house so we went to our usual Christmas Tree place... Lowes. 
It may not be the most warm and fuzzy place to get your tree. 
But it works for us. This year I am trying really hard to establish some Christmas traditions with Noah that point to Christ. Before going to Lowes we went to a drive thru nativity scene. 
They had stations for the parts of the story and ended with the resurrection. As we went through the route I told Noah about the Christmas Story and how much Jesus loves us enough to die for us. I got emotional, of course. I felt so blessed to be able to share the most important story of all with my little man. Noah loved the donkey. And he thought Jesus on the Cross was messy. "Mommy Jesus messy. Mess. " But as we were getting ready for prayers he said, "Mommy Jesus in stable. Where'd Jesus go mommy? I want Jesus. Mommy I want Jesus." Oh I hope he always does!
