The Thankful Post- Noah

Today I am thankful for Noah. I am thankful for his laughter. For his silly grin. For his energy. For the way his whole body shakes when he is happy. I am thankful for the funny things he says. I am thankful for his growing personality. For his peacefulness as he sleeps. I am grateful for the joy he brings me. I am thankful for the moments that he makes me so happy it overflows my heart. Because it brings me closer to the Creator of all joy. I am thankful for the moments I don't think I can take one more second. Because it brings me to my knees begging God for more of His strength and more of His patience. I am grateful for the fact Noah has made me a better person, that being his mom has made me more compassionate, more patient, and put value in a new perspective. I am grateful that being Noah's mom has brought me closer to God by seeing how He loves me from a new angle, from needing Him like never before, by being thankful beyond what I thought imaginable, by a creating a new definition of dependence on God, by giving me fresh eyes of discovery of this world He made for us to enjoy and by increasing my prayer life. I am grateful that being Noah's mom has made me fall in love with Adam even more. I love the father he is. I can not even begin to describe what I feel watching them play together. Everytime I look at Noah I am reminded of what we created from our love of eachother. I am thankful that being Noah's mom has created a desire in me to do better and to be better at everything I do, to make him proud of me. I am thankful for the happiness Noah brings to his family. To his friends and to strangers. I am thankful for the responsibility to raise him, to love him and to lead him to God. I am thankful for the love in my heart for this sweet yet crazy little boy!
