The End

I have enrolled myself in stress management therapy to prevent overload during the school year. This therapy includes a regular excercise regime, prayer, bubble baths, nutrition changes, yoga, planning, housekeeping routines, an occasional glass of wine, good smelling bath products, laughter and hugs and kisses from all three of my guys. (Although Charlie's are very slobbery).

Day Two of said therapy is going well. Part of this self prescribed therapy is reading a chapter of a book before going to sleep.

Tonight I will finish Breaking Dawn. This marks the sixth (maybe seventh) time I finished the series. This is the end. (For a good while at least.) Its been good but enough is enough.

So I am asking you for a favor. A big favor. I would like everyone who reads this to leave me a light bedtime reading selection in a comment. Not anything too serious. Perferably fiction.

I'd love to start a stress therapy routine like that! Sadly I have just sat on the couch on this rainy night. I am exhausted after only Day 1 out of 180! I have 19 kids and 5 of them with special needs. Today was a challenge and just the beginning! I know it's nothing like what you deal with though. I'm thinking about you and hoping you have a great year!

Hey Carrie! That sounds like a good idea. I just finished a series not long ago that was easy, fiction (a little emotional but in a good way) by Karen Kingsbury. They are not the best written books but they are addictive. It is called the Redemption Series. It continues on with 9 more books -two more series that are a little related to each other. You are welcome to borrow the first series (I will probably get the rest eventually too). Hope school is starting off well! Ill talk to you soon :-)

Any Sophie Kinsella book. Something Borrowed and Something Blue by Emily Giffin (2 diff. books). All cute and easy to read. No thinking involved.

How is Noah doing in preschool?

OOh, good suggestions in here. I'll add anything by Kristin Billerbeck. She's a Christian Chick Lit author. I'd start w/ her Ashley Stockingdale series...hilarious and clean! Great positive thing to read before bed.

There are 3 books in the Ashley series...here's a link to the first one: http://www.amazon.com/Shes-Out-Control-Ashley-Stockingdale/dp/1595543341/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1250082493&sr=8-1

I read all of Karen Kingsbury series this summer. It's an easy read and I agree additive. After the Redemption series there's the Firstborn series followed by the Sunrise series. These are all about the Baxter family and their friends. It is clean and they quote scripture in their heads. I've read some of her stand alone books too and they're good.
I've started Twilight series again about 2 weeks ago. I was just going to read the 1st one till I could get to my church library for a Kingsbury; tonight I begin Eclipse! It is relaxing to read a little before bed.
I do like Adam's suggestion! Love You, MIL
