Turning 27
Yesterday was my 27th birthday. I feel very old. I'm not, I just feel that way. My ten year high school reunion is in less that a year. The kids I teach (the non repeaters) were not yet in Kindergarten then. At the same time I look at Noah and think, "I have a baby". I do not yet feel old enough or nearly responsible enough to be a mother. Moms are supposed to have all the answers, I don't have answers! I amazed that God felt I was ready for this. I just remember to pray and trust that He knows I can do it!!
We celebrated my birthday at a good old family dinner at my mom's house. It was a good dinner and lots of sweet cards and presents. It was Noah's first family birthday dinner. He slept through the actual eating part but enjoyed being the center of attention and getting loved on by grandparents, great grandmother, aunts and uncles. The video I took is of my sister Emily talking to Noah. He really loves her and today when we were uploading the video he starting smiling and cooing at the sound of her voice! She definitely has the touch.

i've always loved babies, but i had no idea that i could love a baby this much. he really is so special because he is a part of my amazing sister. i'm so excited to watch him as he grows. i've always known that you would be an incredible mom. you are, and it is just beginning.
