Stomach Virus

In the two short days Noah spent at "school" last week he picked up a nasty little bug that he shared with us. For him it meant throwing up and some diarrhea . For me it meant a fever, throwing up, body aches, congestion and two unpaid days off work. For Adam it meant four sick days spent taking care of the two of us. And I'm sure it didn't mean much to Laura and John who also picked up Noah's little bug. I think it has now run its course through our household. I guess this is just the beginning of school germs! But my mom always said moms got special immunity. I guess I must have missed that. I pray that we can have some healthy weeks coming up so Noah can adjust to school and I can make it a full week at Bryant as a working mom.

:( :( :( i'm sorry you guys were all sick! are you better now? i've got a nasty cold and i'll be absolutely AMAZED if it runs its course w/o micah getting it!

we have a snow storm coming in tonight - dan just ran to the store to grab something quickly and said it looks like everyone's trying to get stuff before it hits. must be like walmart in t-town when they call for a hurricane!! ;) we're supposed to get 4-8 inches here. 8-10in a little further north!

Well, I posted too soon. This morning when I got up, Adam had it so I took Noah to daycare and then around ten someone came to get me (i was at a workshop at Central)and said there was an emergency and to call my husband. i called and noah had projectile vomited so he had to be picked up (by thomas, noah's emergency check out person since Adam couldn't get me) so I came home. Noah seems fine. Adam is not, but I'll be home again tomorrow. That makes four unpaid days which is a nice chunk from my paycheck but if the relief package passes the senate we should have 1500 coming our way (not that i agree this is a good idea, but i won't turn down the check!)which will more than make up for it. a snowstorm sounds fun as long as you keep your power! take some pictures! What kind of camera do ya'll have?

Oh Carrie! I'm sorry Noah and the whole family has been sick! I didn't get the "special mom immunity" either. Savannah and I have taken turns the last two months with colds. Fun stuff. Hopefully, y'all will stay well for awhile! And, so glad he stayed on schedule at daycare! That's amazing!
