The Bad Teether

My adorable ball of sunshine has turned himself into a crying, fussing, fit throwing, back arching gremlin. And the culprit is teeth. And the result is a crazy momma! I have ten days until the 2011-2012 school year starts. Then the next day is Miller's first birthday party. I am also super blessed to have some orders for Paper Happies to work on and a super special baby shower this weekend. So this morning I was playing on the floor with a baby clinging to me for dear life, a large dog resting his head on me to lick the crying baby while a three year old was climbing all over me like I was a mountain when my phone beeped with a delivery from my RSS Reader. My delivery..... this blog post on verses to read to be a more patient mom. Isn't God good? That and naptime were the perfect remedy for my complete lack of patience. I really do want to enjoy these last ten days and transition smoothly into the new year! So come on teeth. Until then

The Last Beach Post- Peach Park

Peach Park is such a post beach tradition. It always signals the end of a great time.

And that is the end of the beach pictures! Thanks for indulging me. I took just a few too many! I am loving my camera and all my adorable subjects!

The Seaside Afternoon

Seaside is my favorite place in the Southeast! I love it. Love. It. Too bad the babies were pushing naptime. Luckily Adam and I went back on datenight. And then the women went back for some shopping. The boys are sporting the crab shirts I made them. I love how they came out on the outside. The underside was a MESS. Adam overheard some women talking about how cute they were. Then we saw some similar shirts on sale for $38! I'm sure the underside of those looked perfect. There is just something about making something for the boys at about 1/4 the cost that makes me all giddy inside.
Doesn't he look a bit like a sullen teenager?

The Family Pictures Attempt #2

The family pictures in white were not as successful as the ones in blue we had some fussy babies. But there were a few winners.

The Photo Idea

I have been LOVING me some Pinterest. Saw this idea on there and played around with it. Even though I go back to school in 12 days and do not have time to play around. Oh well.

The Family Photos Attempt #1

Nana has been really excited about taking family pictures at the beach since they booked our
trip in the Spring. I know this is not unique to her as most grandmothers I know adore taking family pictures. As we have three little ones with us we planned on taking two sets of photos.
One in blue, for which Nana made all three little ones matching outfits for. And the other one set in white. We took these blue ones last night. I love some of the shots I got last night. So just skip this post if you are really tired of the obsessive picture taking that I have been posting at the beach :) Hopefully some of these pictures will become cherished family memories and hang on our walls for years to come!
I hope this doesn't embarrass them but the favorite pictures I took so far were these of my in laws, Sandra and Mike. I think I just love what it shows of their relationship and just the beauty and strength of it. I am glad my children have their genes. Plus I think my mother in law is beautiful! It makes me want to get my parents out on the beach and photograph them too!
